February 2026: Month Two

February was the first full month. January only covered 12 days, so these are the first numbers that work as a real baseline.

The Numbers

  • SongSplit AI: 30 downloads, 1 sale ($12.99)
  • Whitenoise: 11 downloads (free app)
  • Soundshine: 0 downloads
  • Ejecta: 0 downloads

Total: 41 downloads, $12.99 revenue.

What Happened

The February goal was 15 downloads. Got 41. The goal was too conservative.

SongSplit AI drove most of it, jumping from 1 download in January to 30 in February. I did not run any marketing. Something shifted on the App Store side, maybe a ranking bump, maybe an editorial slot I never saw. One person bought the unlock-export in-app purchase for $12.99.

Whitenoise went from 5 to 11 downloads. Free app, so no revenue, but the growth is consistent.

Soundshine launched February 10th as the first app in my Tuesday shipping challenge. Not enough time in the store to register this month. That changes in March.

Ejecta is an old app. Zero downloads again.

March Goals

Six apps are releasing in March as part of the Tuesday challenge. More apps in the store means more ways to get found.

  • 60 downloads
  • $25 revenue (two paid sales)
  • 6 apps shipped

The revenue goal is modest. New apps start slow, and most of what ships in March will only be in the store for a week or two before the month is out.
