January 2026: Month One
January was my first month tracking downloads and revenue for my apps. I started on January 20th, so this is really just 12 days of data. Not a full picture, but it’s a start.
The Numbers
- SongSplit AI: 1 download, 1 sale ($12.99)
- Whitenoise: 5 downloads (free app)
- Ejecta: 0 downloads
Total: 6 downloads, $12.99 revenue.
Where I’m At
Small numbers. That’s expected. The whole point of tracking this stuff publicly isn’t to show off, it’s to have a baseline I can measure against later.
One paid sale in 12 days. Someone found SongSplit AI, decided it was worth $12.99, and bought it. Whitenoise is getting a few free downloads a week, so there’s some organic discovery there.
February Goals
Keeping expectations low on purpose:
- 15 total downloads across all apps
- $13.00 revenue (basically one paid sale)
I’d rather hit a modest target and raise it next month than set something unrealistic. If I get there, March goals go up.
